Britt Swartzlander has joined the Frederick County Office of Economic Development (OED) as the new friendly face and Administrative Specialist for the Business and Cultivation Center at 118 N. Market St in Downtown
“I am looking forward to greeting all businesses that come to our new center and am excited to see how economic development, the Chamber, FITCI and others will benefit from working together to help businesses grow, “ said Britt.
She brings a background that includes local government, retail, customer service, administration and television news. Moving to Frederick in 2014, she grew up in Pennsylvania and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Juniata College. Helen Propheter, Director of OED said, “Britt brings a strong customer service, problem solving and can-do attitude to this position. We look forward to opening our doors to the new Business and Cultivation Center and having Britt play a leading role in our success!”
