What is your greatest professional accomplishment?
I don’t identify any one moment or thing as an accomplishment, but rather several moments collectively: (1) the opening of Flynn & Clarke, LLC; (2) balancing parenthood and family time with a career and business; and (3) receiving personal referrals from past clients.
What is your experience with volunteering and civic engagement?
I currently serve as President of the Downtown Frederick Partnership, Secretary of the Bar Association of Frederick County, and am a member of the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek where I serve on the Board of Directors and as Chair of the International Committee.
I have volunteered as: an ESL tutor with the Literacy Council of Frederick County; a community mediator through the Mediation and Conflict Resolution Center of Howard County; a member of the Hood College Alumni Committee; and as Chair of the BAFC YLS.
What was your first job?
When I was 14 years old I started working as a tour-guide at "The Amish Village", and educated tourists about local Amish customs and beliefs.
What do you like to do for fun in Frederick County?
I love finding new places and new experiences, and there is always a new place to explore in Frederick whether it's checking out a new brewery or taking my son for his first ride on the Walkersville Railroad.
