As a Partner and Certified Financial Planner at RS Will Wealth Management, Alex focuses on delivering best-in-class financial and investment planning to multigenerational families and business owners across the country. While helping grow RS Will Wealth Management and their 11 team members, Alex has continued to lead her community.
What is your greatest professional accomplishment?
My greatest professional accomplishment has been earning the Certified Financial Planner designation.
Name one award you are most proud to have received.
I was recognized as a Young Rotarian of the Year in the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek.
What is your experience with volunteering and civic engagement?
I volunteer with FCF Church, Financial Literacy courses, and Women's giving circle.
I am a board member of the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek. Co-chair of the Club’s Community Service Committee.
What was your first job?
Subway Sandwiches
What do you like to do for fun in Frederick County?
Visit local Farms, Parks, and all other outdoor activities with our children.
Who is your greatest influence?
I am blessed to have several mentors: Mark Mayer, Karlys Kline, Kim Chaney, Bill Coffey, and Paul McArthur have been instrumental in how I approach my work.
What is your favorite leadership book?
How to Win Friends and Influence People. Timeless principles for leadership & life.
What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute to your success and why?
An endless desire to learn. I always have and hope to always been a perpetual student. I firmly believe there is always something we can learn from one another which translates into skills and perspective that may not have been considered before.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Continuing to serve God, my family, our clients, and our community. Frederick is an amazing place and I am committed to leaving it better than I found it.
