Sherri Theresa Daniels-Ames is a community leader in Frederick County. She volunteers her time to women who are in domestic violence and drug abuse situations. The community-based group is called “Tuesdays with Sherri Women’s Support Group,” which she has been facilitating since 2008. She enjoys serving her community and strives to be a dedicated leader to all who need a listening ear.
Tell us about a professional achievement that you feel most proud of.
While I'm is proud of all the projects I been associated with while at Orases, it is my work with the American Kidney Fund on custom software to help patients find the funds they need for lifesaving care that drives me to continue to improve.

Empowered means to me beat all odds that negatively impacts your life.
What motivates you and why?
The determination to survive and to help others.
What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute to your success and why?
Humility and being very empathetic.
