Strengthening the Mid-Atlantic Region for Tomorrow (SMART) started as a Congressional Initiative to help connect small business, government and academia to promote R&D and demystify the process for working with the federal government. The Conference is returning to in-person and is sponsored by the Frederck County Office of Economic Development and others. This year’s conference will be held on February 22-23, 2023 at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center, 5400 Holiday Drive, Frederick, MD 21703.
With Frederick County businesses looking for non-dilutive funding and an understanding of the MCM development, the event will have speakers and panel discussions to provide updates on agency priorities, future requirements and best practices for doing business with their respective organizations. There will be Senior Executives and OSBP from multiple defense and civilian agencies speaking.
