The Frederick County Office of Economic Development (OED) welcomes the location of the newly-formed corporate location for Navistar Direct Marketing, bringing 200 new jobs to Frederick County. Navistar Direct Marketing, a part of Moore DM Group, is a digital and conventional printing company with full-service direct mail production servicing the nonprofit, commercial and political clients. Their new state-of-art 205,000 square foot facility will employ more than 200 people on Navistar Drive in Frederick.
OED worked to assist the company through the Frederick County’s Fast Track Permitting process. “Our office has been working with the consultant JLL who represents the company on this project for quite some time. We are pleased the Fast Track process has helped Navistar Direct Marketing meet their time frame and assisted them to quickly open for business in our County,” said Director of OED Helen Propheter. Fast Track Permitting is an economic development tool used to expedite projects through the development/permitting processes while adhering to all established standards. Applicants receive points based on criteria such as: job creation, target industry, capital investment, and average annual salaries. Approved businesses meet with the appropriate County staff to discuss their project scope and details prior to permit submissions.
