Director of Business Development for Edsol Communications, LLC, Patricia Mir is a strong leader, strategist, and communicator. Through her role at EDSOL, Mir is in charge of business development strategy, identifying and pursuing growth opportunities and partnerships, the firm’s marketing budget, planning and event execution, and leading proposal creation.
Mir has over 20 years of experience in providing outstanding administration, marketing, government contracting, sales initiatives, and events coordination work. Mir has had various roles throughout her professional career and worked as a PR and marketing specialist, an executive assistant, and an office manager. Formerly working in Montgomery County and in the Washington, D.C. Metro area, Mir started working in the Frederick community in 2018.
Mir has a B.A., Journalism and Public Relations from the National University of Cordoba in Argentina, and she is bilingual in Spanish and English. She also earned her CAPM Certification in Project Management from Montgomery College.
In taking the Frederick County Minority Business Executive Development class, Mir hopes to gain more knowledge in different aspects of business operations. She also is looking to develop her professional skills, network, and meet like-minded professionals in Frederick.
