The Frederick County Office of Economic Development (OED) announces Matt Doyle has joined the office as Business Development Specialist, Attraction. Matt brings over fifteen years of sales and marketing experience, strong community connections, and vast experiences working with businesses in many different fields.
After spending his entire career in the private sector of Frederick County businesses, Matt’s experience in marketing strategy, industry trade show proficiency, and sales training are welcome additions to OED. He has built strong relationships throughout Frederick County and beyond that will continue in this new role. Matt will work closely with the existing staff and partners to create strategy for gaining interest and ultimately attracting new businesses to Frederick County.
Heather Gramm, Assistant Director of the Office of Economic Development said, “We are excited to bring Matt onboard to drive our business attraction strategy. His experience in marketing and lead generation, coupled with his knowledge of Frederick’s business community, will be a great asset to our overall economic development initiatives.”
Matt has been a member of the Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County Board of Directors for six years and is currently President of the Board. He is also an active member of the Tourism community with being a Certified Tourism Ambassador and member of the Tourism Council of Frederick County’s Marketing & Group Tour Committee. He serves as a Frederick County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador where he connects new businesses to resources and completed the Leadership Frederick County program in 2016 where he still volunteers as an alumni member.
Matt is a lifelong resident of Frederick County where he resides with his wife Jessie, two daughters Aubrey and Fallyn, and dog JD.
