Made in Maryland Marketplace to Connect Artisans, Retailers and Farmers with Opportunities in Brunswick

The Frederick County Office of Economic Development, in partnership with Brunswick Main Street, is proud to present the first PopUp! Brunswick Made in Maryland Marketplace – an artisan market connecting local farmers, producers and artists with visitors during the 33rd Annual Railroad Days on October 1 & 2, 2016. Vendor applications are now open.

Located in the historic Kaplon Building storefront at 102 W. Potomac St., Bunswick, the marketplace is Brunswick’s first entry into the pop-up retail phenomenon and will open at 10am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Marketplace will include a food and artisans market featuring homegrown products delivered straight by a Maryland farmer and a carefully curated artisan display of products made only in Maryland. Vendors will be juried.

Additional space along W. Potomac Street may also be available and the application for all spaces can be accessed at www.tinyurl.com/popupbrunswick.

Brunswick Main Street received a grant from the MD Department of Housing and Community Development to develop the project. The pop-up revolution phenomenon is taking hold in towns across the country as a means to activate underutilized spaces and places that could benefit from a showcase of available real estate opportunities, to beautify downtown vacant buildings, and to support local farmers and artists.
