After announcing their location in Frederick County over two years ago, we now celebrate Kite’s ribbon cutting at their brand new state-of-art facility. Offering remarks was Christi Shaw – Kite CEO, Chuck Calderaro and Chris McDonald – Kite Manufacturing, Jim Jackson – Frederick Site Head, along with Congressman Trone and Frederick County Execute Jan Gardner.
Kite CEO, Christi Shaw emphasized on the important work that Kite do towards cancer patients in providing a cell therapy treatment “this facility help us reach more patients” shared Kite CEO, Christi Shaw. While also acknowledging the hard work and dedication of Kite’s employees “we can’t help patients if we don’t have the top notch employees.”
During the remarks, it was also mentioned the amazing collaboration between partners, from construction, architecture, engineering and business development groups that have made this project happened. “We were able to Fast Track the project and deliver our services even through a pandemic,” shared County Executive Jan Gardner.
We are so excited to be joining in this celebration, great achievement for Kite, a step towards personalize medicine here in Frederick County.
