The Frederick Real Estate Dealmakers (FRED) Awards are hosted by the Frederick County Office of Economic Development and honor the most successful commercial real estate transactions and projects each year, and the people who made them happen.
“There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes when businesses locate or expand in Frederick County. The teams behind the deals which include commercial real estate agents, architects, engineers, general contractors, building owners, and the companies, put in countless hours to ensure that their clients’ needs and deadlines are met,“ said Executive Director of Economic Development Helen Propheter. “The commercial real estate projects honored are a celebration of those people who help grow our economy.”
The 2022 FRED Awards will take place on May 18th and it will be the 5th time the Frederick County Office of Economic Development is holding the event. This year’s FRED Awards celebrate projects from 2020 and 2021. Winners will be named in categories such as Modern Masterpiece, Creative Adaptive Reuse, Deal of the Year, Dealmaker of the Year, and more. Over the next two weeks, we will be sharing the finalists for some of these categories so you can learn more about the impressive deals and dealmakers involved. All of the winners will be announced on May 18th.
