How Can Frederick County's Business Consultant Help You?

Frederick County has a strong relationship with the Maryland Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The SBDC offers webinars on a variety of topics that are helpful for business owners in all stages of starting and operating a business. Thanks to a partnership with Maryland’s Northern Region of the SBDC, Frederick County entrepreneurs also have access to a business consultant for one-on-one assistance. Bryan Laing currently serves as Training Director and Business Consultant for Frederick County.

Small Business Development Centers (SBDC) provide training and technical assistance to small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. SBDC services include, but are not limited to, assisting small businesses with financial, marketing, production, organization, engineering and technical problems, and feasibility studies. The SBDC also makes special efforts to reach socially and economically disadvantaged groups, veterans, women and the disabled.
