Frederick County’s craft beverage and farm-to-glass movement is booming, attracting visitors and making local consumers happy. To build on that momentum, Frederick County Office of Economic Development, Visit Frederick and Frederick Magazine have partnered to create the Homegrown Frederick Wineries, Breweries & Distilleries Showcase at The Great Frederick Fair, September 15 – 23.
Located in Building 13, the showcase brings together educational displays, demonstrations, live acoustical entertainment on the Showtime Sound 
“This is an exciting initiative this year that blends the traditional agriculture with our emerging industry of adult beverages. This industry allows our farmers to diversify their products and offer farm to consumer sales and we are happy to be able to showcase several of our Frederick County businesses this year” says, Karen Crum, Executive Assistant of The Great Frederick Fair.
Vendors include, Smoketown Brewing Station, Linganore Winecellars, Red Shedman Farm Brewery, McClintock Distilling, Flying Dog Brewery, Tenth Ward Distilling Co., Olde Mother Brewing Company, Springfield Manor Winery & Distillery, as well as, Roasthouse Pub.
