The Frederick County Future Minority Business Leaders Program launched its third class on February 22, 2019. This 8 month leadership program was designed to bring minority business owners and minority business leaders together to expand growth opportunities and leadership qualities. The theme of the program is to inspire, develop and grow current and future business leaders in Frederick County. The first session, conducted by Daryl Glick from the Dale Carnegie Institute focused on “How to Perfect Your Elevator Pitch”.
The Frederick County Future Minority Business Leaders Program is an initiative of the Frederick County Office of Economic Development’s minority outreach program, the Minority Business Vision. This program was created to address the growing diversity of the county, and help ensure that the complexion of the business community mirrors the diversity and the impact that it has on Frederick County. The program is designed to bring minority businesses together to expand growth opportunities through resources, networking and business education that inspire innovative leaders.
