Leadership Maryland recently announced its class of 2023, and we are thrilled that FCOED’s own Acting Executive Director, Jodie Bollinger, was selected to be a part of the class.
When asked about the upcoming experience, Jodie said “I am excited about being part of this year’s Leadership Maryland class because this program is a great opportunity to grow as a leader, learn about challenges and opportunities, connect with a diverse group of Maryland’s leaders, and make a positive impact in our community.”

Annapolis, Md. (February 13, 2023) – Leadership Maryland announced today that Jodie L. Bollinger '23, Acting Director of the Frederick County Office of Economic Development, has been chosen to participate in the statewide professional development program as a member of the Class of 2023.
Bollinger is one of 53 individuals chosen for Leadership Maryland’s 30th class, who will complete the eight-month, hands-on learning program focused on the state’s most vital issues. The program will run from April to December, and include five, two-day sessions focused on Maryland’s five main geographic regions and the most vital issues impacting economic development, education, health and human services, criminal justice, the environment, and multi-culturalism/diversity across the state. More than 100 experts representing Maryland’s business, government, education, and non-profit communities will serve as panelists and guest speakers.
