The Frederick County Office of Economic Development (OED) announces the relocation of the corporate headquarters of Daly Computers to Frederick. Currently headquartered in Montgomery County, Daly plans to employ 210 people at their new facility. Daly Computers is an IT service provider to government and education and customers and has been in business for over 30 years.
OED has been working with Daly Computers for over a year to bring the company to Frederick. “When they expressed the desire to find a space in Frederick, we met them and toured their headquarters facility. It was obvious that they were bursting at the seams and needed a larger facility to accommodate their growth,” said OED’s Director Helen Propheter. “Our goal was to work with their commercial brokers at Turning Point Real Estate to help them find a new location to purchase that they could also expand into in the future.” As a result, Daly has signed a contract for a 50,000 square foot facility on 5300 Spectrum Drive in Frederick. Daly has plans to expand the facility by another 14,700 square feet to accommodate their growth.
