May 6th is National Nurses Day, and it also kicks off the weeklong recognition of National Nurses Week. We want to take this opportunity to thank the many dedicated and passionate nurses who live and work in Frederick County. Our area nurses work hard all year long, and especially in these trying times, tare going above and beyond to make sure patients are getting the best care possible. Their knowledge, skills, and courage during COVID-19 are greatly appreciated, and they are bringing comfort to those under care who need it most.
To those looking for a way to support our local nurses and other healthcare workers, please see below for more information on donating to Frederick Health and a list of items that are needed at this time.
