Celebrating its 19th year, Business Appreciation Week (BAW) has become Frederick County’s premiere business event of the year and is the largest BAW event in the State of Maryland. During the week of October 7th-11th, groups of ambassadors will be visiting over 100 Frederick County businesses that support our local economy and recognizing them as “Hometown Business Heroes.” These Ambassador groups will be comprised of members of Frederick County Government, City of Frederick, the State of Maryland, elected officials, as well as other partners all joining to express appreciation for our business community.
The honor does not stop there, because businesses will also have the chance to identify and recognize their Hometown Business Hero. This could be staff, a business partner, or another Frederick County business or entity. Stay tuned for photos and highlights of the week’s visits!
