The 2019 Homegrown Hay Days will be held Saturday, October 19th and Sunday, October 20th at 21 farms around Frederick County. This free event, hosted by the Frederick County Office of Economic Development, is open to the public and provides the Frederick community and families from across the region an opportunity to learn about the county’s diverse agriculture industry.
The Homegrown Hay Days provides hands-on activities at farms in the county, for families and visitors of all ages. The public will have an opportunity to visit the 21 participating farms on a self-guided tour with activities like picking pumpkins, petting an alpaca, sampling award winning wines, mead, and ciders, enjoying hayrides around the farm, taking beautiful photos of the fall landscape, and enjoying all the different amenities on the farm.
Find out more about the participating farms and download a printable map and directions to the farms by going to the Homegrown Hay Days website at http://www.homegrownfrederick.com/homegrown-haydays.
