Advanced Technology Parks
The Office of Economic Development (OED) has been exploring the opportunity of developing an advanced technology park in southern Frederick County. This park would be created to serve the growing demand for available space for attracting information technology companies.
Business Retention Program
As part of our retention strategy OED has designated one staff member to serve as the Retention Specialist who is responsible for coordinating and assisting Frederick County businesses in their development and expansion needs.Frederick Area Committee of Transportation (FACT)
OED is an active participant on FACT, which is a non-profit organization of local community leaders and elected officials whose primary focus is meeting Frederick County's current and future transportation needs while accommodating improvements and growth.
