This Father’s Day weekend, we are thankful for all the dads out there. From fathers to grandfathers, uncles and father-figures, we recognize the men who made us who we are and are helping to shape future generations. This weekend is the perfect time to get out and treat those special men, and thank them for all they do.
- If a day on the golf course is music to your dad’s ears, Frederick County has several beautiful courses to check out. You can find the whole list here: https://www.visitfrederick.org/things-to-do/golf/
- If dad loves to spend the day outside but golf is not his thing, there are plenty of parks to hike, kayak, camp, or just relax and enjoy nature. https://www.visitfrederick.org/things-to-do/parks-and-outdoor-recreation/national-and-state-parks/
- Maybe dad wants to stock up on his favorite brews, or try out some locally made craft beverages. Frederick County is home to more than two dozen craft breweries, wineries and distilleries. From a creative beer to a classic cocktail, you can find it all without having to leave the county. http://www.homegrownfrederick.com/craft-beverages
- Take dad out to his favorite restaurant or order carry out.
From all of us at the Frederick County Office of Economic Development, Happy Father’s Day!
