Thanksgiving Farms is a 56-acre family owned farming operation where our motto is: we grow our own. We specialize in unique and unusual annuals, perennials, herbs, evergreens, shrubs and trees. Since 1982, the Zimmerman Family has provided Frederick County with a large selection of fruits from our orchards, vegetables of all varieties and our largest endeavor, the 8 acre greenhouse/nursery operation. Activities
Self-Guided tour of our farm, orchard and greenhouse/nursery, PYO apples, fall vegetables and pumpkins, Apple Tasting, Pumpkin painting, Make an Apple “Buddy”, Refreshments. Call to find out what is in season – 7 days a week, Visit the perennial display gardens. We now offer a CSA here at our farm! The CSA will offer our fresh fruits and vegetables grown here on the farm. (call or stop by to sign up).
