Come for the view and the produce! Scenic View Orchards has been family-owned and operated for the past 7 generations. In the mid-1800’s, the farm was mostly a hay and grain operation. Today, Scenic View raises a wide variety of delicious fruits and vegetables. Set in the beautiful Catoctin Mountains, the orchard is ideally located to view the regions breathtaking fall colors. Relax in our picnic area, and then stroll through the indoor fresh produce market.

Activities
Picnic area, horse drawn wagon rides to the pumpkin patch. Guided hayride and orchard tours, Sunday at noon, 1:30 and 3:00pm, Jack-B-little pumpkin painting by Deerfield United Methodist Church youth group, pick-your-own pumpkin patch, light refreshments.

Products
Fruits and vegetables are available while “in season”,
strawberries, red & black raspberries and blackberries, Spring, Summer and Fall vegetables, cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines, pears, apricots and apples, specialty cheeses, eggs, jams, jellies, prepared specialty items – snacks, birdhouses, fall decorations, bedding plants, mums and flower bouquets.

From Frederick: Take Rt. 15 North to the MD 550 North (Sabillasville/Ft. Ritchie exit). Go north on MD 550 for approximately 5 miles. Farm is located on the right, across from Sabillasville Elementary School.
