Black Ankle Vineyards is 145 acre farm with 22.5 acres planted to high quality wine grapes. Cows and chickens graze in the non-vineyard land in support of the vineyard operation.

Activities
We offer wine tasting during all opening hours. For $5 visitors can taste 6 of our wines. We also offer glass and bottle sales of wine. Special events are planned from time to time throughout the year, and are listed on our website.

Products
All of our wines are available for sale at our farm. In addition, we offer a cheese plate featuring an assortment of locally produced cheeses.

From Frederick: Take route 26 East, through Libertytown. 2.6 miles past Libertytown, turn right onto Unionville Road. Follow Unionville Road for just over one mile to a right on Black Ankle Road. We are a half-mile up on the right (14463 Black Ankle Road).
