Gordon Cooley - Cooley, former commissioner of financial regulation for the state of Maryland, is First United Bank & Trust’s Frederick County market president, overseeing the bank’s strategic sales and growth initiatives in Frederick County. Cooley brings 30 years of banking and financial-services experience to the company. In his position as commissioner of financial regulation, he supervised banks, credit unions, and trust companies throughout Maryland, as well as more than 16,000 other lenders, brokers, originators, and financial-service providers. Prior to his time in state government, Cooley held the position of regional president at PNC Bank, as well as positions with PNC predecessors in Maryland, Farmers & Mechanics National Bank and F&M Bancorp, where he served as general counsel and in various capacities as a member of the executive management team.
Mark Greathouse – Greathouse is a pioneer in online private equity capitalization, investor, and serial entrepreneur who draws from nearly 50 years of business experience and expertise (30 years at executive levels) with dozens of enterprises serving domestic and international clients across a broad set of industries. He is a managing director of Mid-Atlantic Angels, LLC, a Frederick-based private-equity investment group and president and managing principal with GTG Solutions, LLC consultants.
